July 2026 Newsletter
We love, serve, and gather in Christ.
Pastor’s Corner
Family of Faith:
At about 5 a.m. the morning I'm writing this; I dropped my daughter and her friends off at the airport!
It is incredibly hard, isn't it? If you've ever dropped off a loved one at the airport you know the feeling. And, I know, we pray for them and wish for safe travel etc. And, by the time you read this in the July newsletter, they'll be back home! And her friend's destination wedding will be history.
That's so similar to what God did with Jesus. God "dropped him off" in Bethlehem. Jesus lived, did ministry, died and rose again all in 33 years! A great trip all around. Then his return flight brought him directly to us! Home in our hearts with love, grace, joy and much hope now and forever!
Thanks be to God,
Pastor Doug
